In late October 2017,  I called up two of my closest buddies in Singapore, Daniel & Lionel.

"Hey dude, you wanna start a band ? I don't really know what to call it yet though."

​

And there, Vehemon was born.

​

We were off to a good start, 3 young guys, full of energy and emotions. But then...

​

The egos clashed and conflicts took its toll...

​

It was a harsh ending for all of us - they left the band and I moved back to Saigon.

​

That... was a "stunning" moment in my own life...

​

And when I arrived back in Saigon, I was furious...

​

I had to start back from scratch and I swore to do whatever it takes...

​

At the time, the ONLY musician and friend I knew in Saigon was Hung.

​

And some might called it 'destiny', but I built everything back from simply knowing him...

​

Hung introduced me to the scene and helped me to quickly recruit the other members.

​

All the early connections I made was thanks to him. Even the first show that we've played.

​

Then before we knew it, the gigs started to roll in and more people knew who we were...

​

It is amazing and mind-boggling looking back now at how the dots were connected.

​

And today, I still continue to push myself and Vehemon to new heights.

​

The story is truly one that I consider inspirational, even many years afterwards...
